In its beginning, Aeromil had two Squirrel AS-350-B2 French model helicopters, newly released, and two ground ambulances. In 1994, however, with the need to expand the area of operation throughout the country and into neighboring countries, the company acquired a Citation SII jet manufactured by Cessna, in the United States, adhering to the most modern techniques and medical assistance specifications. In 1995, Aeromil Argentina, based in Buenos Aires was created and, then, the medical transportation was done using a German helicopter BO-105, which was configured as an air ambulance. With the success of the service two more helicopters BK-117-C1 were bought in 1998, these were able to fly by instruments and offered a greater interior space, providing more mobility to work in the cabin. This is one of the most widely used models in aeromedical services. Today, Aeromil has one jet, three helicopters and 23 ambulances specialist.
